WORKSHOP 1

Agile Decision Making

Bernhard Bockelbrink

Bernhard Bockelbrink, Evolving Collaboration

In this workshop will introduce you to Sociocracy 3.0, a free and open framework for agile collaboration that meets organizations where they are and helps them discover their own way towards greater organizational agility. After a brief introduction to the general idea behind Sociocracy 3.0, participants will get to choose from a selection of short modules that explore different topics, e.g. agile decision making, transcending hierarchies, organizational culture, agile structures, software for learning organizations, strategies for agile transitions.

WORKSHOP 2

The story mapping game – a method for agile teams

Tino Buder Marius Seebach

Tino Buder, msg Systems
Marius Seebach, msg DAVID

In this workshop you will practice Jeff Patton’s Story Mapping technique – a practice that helps you to get an overview of all the user stories that need to be developed and to prioritize them into multiple releases. We will use a daily routine that everyone knows and probably hates a little bit as an example. Attending this workshop will give you a method for your daily life in agile projects.

WORKSHOP 3 – PART I

Organisational Design for complex customer demand

Frank Besemer Cenk Yazer

Frank Besemer &
Cenk Yazer, Kugler Maag Cie

How do organizations look like if they are able to master the growing complexity, reduce the time to market and to deliver individual customer products? Customers demand more and more complex systems and products. They expect results in a shorter time frame based on unstable and individual requirements. Suppliers have to deal with this challenge and have to find solutions. We think they have to find holistic solutions that are based on organizational behaviours and capabilities.

During the workshop the participants will build various teams to create a common systems engineering organisation in an agile environment.
